Studio Portfolio.
Architecture that balances clarity, craft and long-term value.
Every project begins with a simple idea — a way to live, to work, to grow. We turn those ideas into spaces that feel effortless and beautifully considered.
Our portfolio spans one-off private homes, crafted extensions and developer-led housing.
Each scheme is shaped by precision, proportion and a belief that design should make life better.

Courtyard House.
A warm, minimal interior direction exploring proportion, material calm and a quiet architectural presence. Centred around a soft courtyard core, the work refines our warm-neutral palette of oak, stone and sculptural light — forming the foundation of 04/05 Architecture’s residential design language.

Gibb Lane Residence.
A contemporary extension and whole-home renovation to a two-storey detached property. The proposal introduces a full-width rear extension, a reconfigured ground floor and a new timber-clad entrance volume that modernises the home while respecting its familiar character.
The design elevates the property with a calm, contemporary architectural language: a low-profile rear addition to maximise natural light, a practical covered side link, and a clearer, more welcoming entrance expression. Clean lines, warm materials and a controlled palette unify the new elements, creating a home that feels renewed yet quietly grounded in its original scale and charm.

Beever Road.
A sensitive redevelopment of a residential site, creating a collection of contemporary homes designed around proportion, daylight and long-term liveability. The scheme introduces a series of calm, brick-built forms with carefully considered massing that sits comfortably within its suburban context.
Street elevations are refined and coherent, while private rear gardens benefit from generous glazing and optimised layouts. The development balances efficiency with architectural quality, delivering well-crafted homes that feel both practical and quietly elevated.
The site incorporate natural, sustainable features such as generously dedicated wildlife habitat zones and French drains.

Harvest View.
A care based residential scheme shaped by clarity and landscape. Harvest View brings together a series of modest, carefully proportioned homes arranged to maximise natural light, outlook and privacy. The architectural language is simple, robust and contemporary, using warm materials and clean forms to create a cohesive sense of place.
Internally, layouts are efficient and intuitive, offering flexible living spaces suited to comfortable homely stays. Externally, the landscape strategy softens the development, embedding the homes into their setting with maturity and calmness.

West End Avenue.
A collection of contemporary homes designed to bring clarity, efficiency and architectural quality to a suburban site. The scheme refines traditional forms with modern detailing, crisp geometry and a restrained palette of materials that ensures longevity and visual coherence.
The internal layouts prioritise natural light, spatial efficiency and family living, while the external expression remains understated and timeless. West End Avenue demonstrates how thoughtful design can enhance the value and experience of everyday housing.

Whitgreave Street.
A considered redevelopment within an established urban neighbourhood, delivering homes that combine contemporary design with a strong sense of identity. The scheme uses rhythm, repetition and material consistency to create a confident street presence, while subtle detailing adds depth and character.
The homes are designed around practical, future-proof layouts with generous natural light and clear zoning. Each unit is composed to feel calm, functional and quietly refined — elevating everyday living through thoughtful design.

Foxton Locks.
A community-focused project set within the historic Foxton Locks landscape. The design reimagines a pavilion structure as a warm, flexible space supporting learning, gathering and shared activity.
The architectural language is honest and robust — timber, daylight and transparency shape a building that feels rooted in its setting. Large openings frame views of the surrounding landscape, while the internal environment remains calm and inviting. A modest building, delivered with care and purpose.
